Eden
Form, Reform
Notice either end of a wooden walkway about 400m in length.
Cracked, broken and dirty, hundreds of figures lie on or beneath this walkway crossing muddy stretches by the River Eden. Made from bone ash, clay and earth - to represent the inner being of us all - they rest unprotected and vulnerable. Look down and walk over them.
After three and a half weeks outdoors, of the 600+ figures placed between the wooden slats, most were still there. Some had been moved, some had sunk into the mud a little way and now a few turn up every so often, found by sharp eyed people.
