Time spent at the University of Cumbria gave space and time to experiment. Swell paper and graphite was used to produce the insect parts on plaster and later several pieces were stated after work was completed on brick clay from the South Lakes and also locally dug clay. Work was shown later in the year at Hunsonby and Penrith.
